THE FIRST PRAGUE DUNGEON SYNTH PARTY IS HERE!
Do you remember how you crawled through pixelated crypts in classic RPGs thirty years ago? Did you and your friends search in vain for squared paper so that you could make a map when you played Dungeon & Dragons? Well, this is the music that was supposed to play for that!
The Prague Night of Kryptozpyt wants to introduce the audience to the dungeon synth genre, but also other genres related to it. On the very first night, Czech DS stars will perform, namely:
BUDEČ - synthesizers and medieval folk. Šalmaje and MPC. Budeč is a project combining elements of medieval and folklore music with dungeon synth aesthetics and ambient field recordings. After two regular albums inspired by Czech history and one split album with the Vyšehrad project, Budeč finally got a live performance, on the occasion of the release of their new album called "LX". It was created during the fall of 2022 as a "Budeč requiem", dedicated to fifty-nine warriors and one woman from an unmarked grave from the tenth century.
GARADRAK - a domestic star of classic dungeon synth. April 6th is also exactly six years since Garadrak released his first song into the air. That is why on that day the fogs of the underground swamps will disperse and the funeral tones of the crypt-hero's six albums released so far will engulf the world and he will come to the Klubovna with his still hot cassette V smutným lese!
VYŠEHRAD - A slap from the mid-nineties and the introduction of the second wave of black metal to the halls of Valhalla. The one-member musical-visual, experimental project connects several genres in its work. Somewhere between Techno and Oipunk, black metal, dark ambient, dungeon synth, martial industrial and many others stand. Lofism, primitive techno beats, tänzelcore. The songs of Vyšehrad describe dreamlike journeys and expeditions to unknown ends of the earth, and our minds. Runes, masquerades, techno, blackmetal, dungeons, forests, the Middle Ages, chains, howling, barking of wild dogs, solitude and spectacular folk festivals. All this and much more!
Expect small RPG surprises throughout the evening!
